The Funk Firm is justifiably proud of our creations. We believe they are amongst the finest components for vinyl replay anywhere on this planet. We are already anticipating a very high demand, so we really do ask you to place an order as early as possible, and contact us for availability of the chosen solution.
Service and Support.
We do hope that you will be only thoroughly amazed, delighted and generally happy with your purchase. However, should there be even the slightest chance of a fly in the ointment, please do call us first. Looking after you, is what we’re here for and frankly, we actually enjoy it!
Fitting Advice (Vector Link and PT decks)
Vector Link is priced and supplied in kit form. Some aspects of the set-up require or at least benefit from the use of specialised tools – such as extended sockets, levelling “T” bars and the like.
Caution: To ensure optimal performance and because of the foregoing requirements, the kit should be installed by a qualified dealer or at least someone familiar or trained in setting up of the LP12.
If you are intending to attempt this yourself, you need to be aware of this.
We are happy to install the kit into your LP12, along with various other options such as the Flexi-Link arm cable (suitable for use the Ittok, SME V / IV / 309 amongst others) and our re-wire option for Regas arms and the Ittok.
Having taken on board our caution, there will many of you out there who feel you have all the expertise to perform the installation yourselves. It is not our place to judge your capability in this.
We are of course on hand to assist with any questions you might have to get the most from your modified deck.
Sending us your LP12 turntable
Advice on Posting
If you are sending you LP12 to us, or one of our dealers, for upgrading we recommend the following:
Use the original box and packaging (If you do not have the original box and packaging please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist).
ALWAYS REMOVE THE INNER PLATTER AND OUTER PLATTER from the turntable.
Plug the opening of the oil bearing using the original RED cap (Please contact us for advice on alternatives).
Please send your arm and cartridge attached to the armboard – this allows us to set up the suspension properly.
You do not need to send the inner and outer platter - we have plenty of those, and it saves on weight!
Our customers normally use regular surface mail (e.g. the Post Office in the UK, US Mail in USA).
If you wish, we can arrange special delivery services – please contact your local dealer for charges and availability of this service.
