" I spent twenty minutes in the Funk room talking to AK and listening to the turntables. He had three Saffires set up, all with Goldring 1042 carts. One had a Naim ARO, one an SME V and the other had the new F dot Cross R arm which is a rewired RB 250 or 300 with their own internally crossbraced spiral wound carbon fibre armtube. It sells for £1,100 which might sound a lot for just a hot rodded Rega but it made the (£2,500) SME V sound pale and anemic and even the ARO (one of my all time favourites) was put in its place..."

Complete LP12 Sondeks!

We may be considering the building and sale of complete Funk modified Linn LP12 Sondeks, in addition to our multi option upgrade kits. The Heathrow show saw the first prototype of the funk Saffire. Needless to say, the press went bonkers and again much excitement from you our loyal customers. We expect to complete technical testing and go into full production within the month. We will keep you posted so pls keep coming back!

The Funk Firm

The Funk firm is a new and exciting company recently landed upon the British audio scene. We are almost exclusively about analogue sound, simply because we still think it is the best! If you care to look at our designs you will see radical technology, new materials and unique manufacturing techniques. Needless to say the sonic results are worth a listen!

You may want to know, "who are the Funk Firm?" Well, we don't wish to dwell on the past but we should say that we have some previous experience within the Hi-Fi industry. Let us just say that we have been around the block a few times.
